Trent Gibson began his career with DMC in 2014 when he joined the firm in the role of manager. Two years later Trent became an owner and moved into the role of partner. Trent has a diverse background with extensive experience both in industry and within private practice both in Canada and internationally. He began his accounting career working with a national firm in Edmonton, where he supported small- and medium-sized businesses. After earning his professional designation Trent and his wife embarked on an adventure that took them to the sandy shores of Bermuda, where he spent six years working as an audit manager for a large accounting firm and as a controller for an international company. Trent moved home to Canada in 2009 and back into private practice in 2012. Trent’s diverse experience has prepared him well to advise clients. He understands the multitude of risks and challenges a companies face and knows the key aspects to creating lasting business success. In his spare time Trent enjoys spending time with his wife and twin sons camping, golfing, and coaching hockey.
